Camping

  • Camping Information: The main roads at the park and in the campground are paved. Each site is packed sand and includes individual water, 20/30/50 amp electrical hookups and sewer. Some sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet, other sites up to 25 feet. The campground is convenient to restrooms with hot showers. There is Wi-fi access near the bathhouse that covers most the campground.

  • Camping Reservations: To make a camping reservation or view current rates, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK or visit our reservations page by clicking here. Rates vary by season and demand and are subject to change.

    Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights.

    Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.

    For example:
    If today is Friday and you are making a reservation checking in on today, Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.
  • Standard Sites with Elec. & Water: 25 sites
  • Dump Station: Yes
  • Primitive Group Area: The primitive group camping area is ideal for organized groups up to 50 people.

    (An organized group is defined as a group that holds regular meetings and has a lead officer or elected/appointed officials.)

    The area includes picnic tables, fire rings and nearby restrooms.

    Reservations are accepted. To make a primitive group camping reservation, contact the park directly.

    Minimum rate is $11 -$13.50 which allows up to ten campers. The rate increases by $6-$7.25 increments for each additional five campers.
