Phil Gaines, Travel back in time at Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site and celebrate "the birth of South Carolina" at our annual Founders Day Festival. Living history performances bring to life the Landing's fascinating history. Enjoy the inspirational beauty of SC at Kings Mountain State Park's annual Spring Arts Fair & Market. Local artisans, including wood-workers, potters and photographers, offer hand-tooled arts and crafts. Great food and music plus lovely wooded trails included. Photo Contest Celebrates Show off your creativity while helping to tell the story of South Carolina state parks - and win some great prizes while you're at it - in our year-long 75th anniversary photo contest.
