Camping

  • Camping Information: Each site is paved and has individual water and electrical hookups, and picnic table. 28 campsites have 50 amp electrical, water and sewer hookups. The campground is convenient to restroom facilities with hot showers. 50 sites can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet, others up to 35 feet. Eight sites are pull-through, while 23 are waterfront.

    Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights.

    Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.

    For example:
    If today is Friday and you are making a reservation checking in on today, Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.
  • Standard Sites with Elec. & Water: 72 campsites
  • Full Hookup Sites with Elec, Water, Sewer: 28 campsites
  • Dump Station: Yes
  • Primitive Group Area: The Primitive camping area is an ideal spot for organized groups up to 50. An organized group is defined as a group that holds regular meetings and has a lead officer or elected official.

    The area includes a water source at the primitive parking lot, and there are multiple fire rings in the primitive area with picnic tables. The nearest restroom facility is a short walk to the Taylor Creek campground bathhouse. You would leave the primitive parking area, turn right, walk up the road and turn left into Taylor Creek campground.

    Reservations are accepted. To make your reservation call the Tackle Shop at 803-482-6401.

    Minimum rate for primitive site is $15-20 per night.
