Patch Programs

Kids ages 5 to 105!  Don't miss out on earning some cool Myrtle Beach State Park patches. These aren’t available at any other state park! Put some education in your vacation and earn a patch at the same time. For more information, call the nature center at 843-238-0874.

Habitat Heroes

If you attend three of our park programs, you can receive one of these cool Myrtle Beach State Park Habitat Patches for your jacket, backpack, stuffed animal, hat or shirt.

If you attend 9 programs, you become a Habitat Hero! Habitat Heroes receive a special pin, their photo on our Habitat Hero Wall of Fame for two years, and even get sung a silly song!

Make a Difference

Kids can also get MAD! and earn a Make a Difference Patch. They must attend 2 specific programs (Litter Critters and Keep Me Wild) and participate in a stewardship project at the park. MAD patches are only available from June through the second week in August.

TSI - Turtle Scene Investigation

Families can help prevent crimes against sea turtles and kids can earn their TSI- Turtle Scene Investigation Patch. They must attend the TSI– Turtle Scene Investigation program, go on the 6 am Friday Sea Turtle Patrol and complete the Turtle-y Trivia sheet. Appropriate for ages 8 and up. Available from June through the second week of August only.
