• Significant Features : This CCC-built park still has various structures standing that can be viewed. Key structures include the old waterwheel site, the water fountains, Shelter #1 and the bath house located at the swimming area.
  
  A CCC statue stands outside of the park office. This monument was dedicated in Sept. 2001 in honor and memory of over 3 million members who served in the CCC between 1933 and 1942.
  
  
• Wildlife : Black bear are sometimes seen on the park.
  
  
• Wildflowers : The rare Oconee Bell can be found growing at Oconee State Park and Devils Fork State Park.
  
  
• Waterfalls : The park is located just up the road from Issaqueena and Hidden Falls. Ask for directions to these waterfalls at the park office.
