NOTICE to Cabin Guests
Due to continued beach erosion at Hunting Island State Park, a portion of the cabin area entrance road has been washed away eliminating vehicle access to cabins 8, 13, 14 and 15.
Currently, guests reserving these facilities will be provided one, four-person golf cart for the duration of their stay to assist with the transportation of personal items between the cabin and guests’ vehicle(s). Parking for guest vehicles and cart pick-up will be provided at the pier / nature center parking area. Check-in will remain at the park’s office.
Guests should consider factors such as limited emergency services, weather effects on cart usage, distance from personal vehicle(s), etc. For more information, please contact park staff at 843-838-2011.
Hunting Island Lighthouse
You may climb to the top of the Hunting Island lighthouse for a per person charge of $2. You must be at least 44" tall to climb the lighthouse.
