FISHING

  • Fishing Information: Enjoy fishing in the Edisto River for bream, redbreast and catfish. A valid South Carolina fishing license is required.

BOATING

  • Boating and Boat Access: Access on the Edisto River is available at a drop off area. A boat ramp is 1/4 mile from park.

    A canoe trail between Colleton and Givhans Ferry is 23 miles by river and 15 miles by highway. Seven to nine hours paddling time is required for the full distance depending on current.

THINGS TO DO

  • Picnic Area and Shelters: A picnic shelter may be reserved for $25/day. The shelter will seat up to 38 people. If the shelter is not reserved, guests may use it on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge.

    Note: Rates listed do not include applicable tax and nonrefundable transaction fee.
