Sesquicentennial State Park

FISHING

  • Fishing Information: Enjoy fishing for bass and bream in the 30-acre park lake.

    A valid South Carolina fishing license is required.

    You may also view the Sesquicentennial Fishing Regulations.

BOATING

  • Boating and Boat Access: Private boats with electric trolling motors, canoes and other non-motorized boats are allowed on the park's 30-acre lake.
    Boat access to the lake is available at a drop off area.

    No boat ramp is available. Boater access is only available by foot. Users must carry all boats to the lake to launch.

  • Boat Rentals: Canoes, kayaks, non-motorized fishing boats and pedal boats are available for rent on a seasonal basis. Rentals include life jackets and paddles. Fees for rentals are $5/hour or $15/day. Fishing boats rent for $12/day. Contact the park for more information.

  • Paddling: Yes

THINGS TO DO

  • Picnic Area and Shelters: Five picnic shelters are available for family or other group gatherings. Each shelter may be reserved for $25-38/day.

    If shelters are not reserved, guests may use on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge.

    Note: Admission fee is not included in shelter price. Rates listed do not include applicable tax and nonrefundable transaction fee.
