FISHING

• Fishing Information: Enjoy fishing in the park's 15-acre Lake Placid for bass, crappie and bream.
  
  A valid South Carolina fishing license is required.
  
  

BOATING

• Boating and Boat Access: Private boats are not allowed in the park lake.
  
  
• Boat Rentals: Canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and surfbike rentals are available Tues-Sun 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. from Memorial Day through the end of August, then select weekends into the fall.
  
  Boat rentals are available contingent upon availability of lifeguards.
  
  Check with the park before making final plans.

THINGS TO DO

• Picnic Area and Shelters: Seven picnic shelters are available for family or other group gatherings. Each shelter may be reserved for $25-38/day.
  
  If shelters are not reserved, guests may use on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge.
  
  Note: Admission fee is not included in shelter price. Rates listed do not include applicable tax and nonrefundable transaction fee.
