Oconee State Park

CAMPING

  • Camping Information: Oconee State Park's campground will be closed during the months of January and February for renovations. We will be upgrading the electric and water lines to 40 designated sites. Please be patient while we work and we look forward to providing an improved camping experience to our vistors in 2010. In the meantime, please try camping at nearby parks such as Lake Hartwell, Devils Fork and Keowee-Toxaway.

The main campground, located near the park lake, offers campsites with individual water and electrical hookups and picnic table.

These gravel sites accommodate RV's up to 35 ft.

While tent campers may use the sites with water and electrical hookups, a designated walk-in tent camping area, located 100 yards off main campground, includes tent pads (limit two tents per pad) and centralized water.

Each campground is convenient to restrooms with hot showers.
