Oconee State Park

Fishing Information: Enjoy fishing in the parks' 20-acre and 12-acre lakes for bass, bream and catfish. (Trout when stocked in winter months).

A valid South Carolina fishing license is required.

Boating and Boat Access: Private boats are not allowed on the park lake.
However rental fishing boats are available.
Canoe Rentals: Canoes are available to rent for $20/day ;
$10/half day
Pedal Boat Rentals: Pedal boat rentals are available to rent year-round at $5/hr.
Boat Rentals: Non-motorized fishing boats available to rent for $20/day or $10/half day.
Paddling: Yes

Picnic Area and Shelters: Four picnic shelters are available for family or other group gatherings. Each shelter may be reserved for $25-38/day.

If shelters are not reserved, guests may use on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge.

Note: Admission fee is not included in shelter price. Rates listed do not include applicable tax and nonrefundable transaction fee.

Park Store/Gift Shop: The park store/park office includes limited grocery items, souvenirs, camping supplies and firewood.

It is open year-round M-Fr 9am-5pm; Sa-Su 11am-noon and 4-5pm.
Fishing: Yes
Swimming Area: Seasonal lake swimming is offered upon availability of lifeguards.

Beginning August 7, 2005 until after Labor Day Weekend, swimming is only available on Saturday and Sunday.

Check with the park before making final plans.
Other Facilities and Activities: Carpet golf located in the campgorund area is available during the summer.

Beginning August 7, 2005 until after Labor Day Weekend, Carpet Golf is only available on Friday thru Sunday.
