The Challenge Course
The Challenge Course at Sesquicentennial State Park is a state of the art outdoor facility designed for leadership development. Located in the natural elements of a state park, the program provides an endless variety of team building activities designed to enhance group performance and cohesiveness. Activities are low risk but challenging. Participants walk cable ropes, negotiate obstacles and balance elements built close to the ground as a team.

How It Works
The Challenge Course philosophy is that we learn most effectively through actual experiences. In a fun but structured environment, groups participate in a series of low element challenges. Our workshops are primarily held outdoors and require light physical activity. Each activity reinforces relevant concepts to working in teams. By removing groups from typical classroom style environments, participants begin to think conceptually. Our workshops provide a challenge for successful team performances, and trigger learning that is transferable to the workplace and personal lives.
Workshop Design
We strive to effectively meet the specific needs of our workshop participants who fall into several categories. Some are recently formed work groups of project teams. Others are groups already functioning as a team but have some developmental challenges. Yet others are successfully functioning teams striving for continuous improvement. Our professionally trained staff will identify the group's expectations and concerns, then create a curriculum specifically tailored to address those needs.
