Description

Join us at Huntington Beach State Park for a fun-filled day of natural and cultural history. This day-long event is part of the Can-Am Days of the Grand Strand area. The setting will be the courtyard of Atalaya, the former winter home of the Huntingtons and a National Historic Landmark. A variety of agencies and local organizations will present displays and conduct tours and hands-on activities. Atalaya admission is $2/person. New this year: Camp Flintlock will have a variety of programs going on throughout the day, emphasizing colonial history. The highlight of the day is the special free-flight demonstration of live raptors and other birds presented by the Center for Birds of Prey at 1:00 pm.
