Foothills Trek

Table Rock State Park

Celebrate National Trails Day by beginning at Sassafras Mtn., South Carolina's highest point, and hiking 9.7 miles on the Foothills Trail back to Table Rock through beautiful mountain terrain. The hike is rated as strenuous.

GENERAL

  • Registration Deadline: June 2, 2008
  • Meeting Place: Day use parking lot across from the nature center.
  • What to Bring: Trail lunch, 2 liters of water, boots/shoes for rugged terrain.
