Plantation Children

Plantation Children, an educational and recreational program will be presented to the children of Union, and the surrounding counties. Come and experience the pastimes, activities, responsibilities, and lifestyle of children in the 1860s. Some of the games played and discussed will be familiar to today’s child, and some will be a brand new experience. A base ball game played by 19th Century rules and equipment will be the featured activity of the event. Pre-registration required. The cost is $5.00 per child for pre-registered participants. Registration at the park will also be held, and the cost at the park will be $7.50 per child.
