Lake Hartwell Hike
Join a park ranger for a guided hike along the 1-mile nature trail at Lake Hartwell State Recreation Area. The trail has easy-moderate terrain, so bring good walking shoes or hiking boots. Along the way, we'll see and discuss the effects of Southern Pine Beetles. We'll see Lake Hartwell from a different view than most visitors, and maybe see some wildlife along the way. Be ready for some surprises, too!
If you want, there is a great sandy beach suitable for swimming off the trail, so dress accordingly if you want to get in the water.
