On Saturday, August 20 Musgrove Mill State Historic Site will commemorate the significant Revolutionary War Battle of Musgrove’s Mill. The event will feature a ceremony to honor those that fought in the battle by local, state and regional chapters of the Sons of the American Revolution and Daughters of the American Revolution, as well as talks and demonstrations by noted speakers, authors, and historians. Revolutionary War re-enactors will also be on hand demonstrating life in the South Carolina Backcountry and weapons and tactics used during the American Revolution at battles like Musgrove’s Mill.
