Geocaching Easter Egg Hunt

302 State Park RD
Ninety Six, SC 29666

Come Out & Play at Lake Greenwood State Park for this High-Tech Hunt! What is Geocaching? Geocaching is a FREE real-world treasure hunt. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using a smartphone or GPS, and can then share their experiences online. Join us at the Recreation Building located in Campground #1 at 10:00am for a brief intro to geocaching, and to pick up your clue sheets! Then it’s up to you to find the “Eggs.” See how many you can find! You might just learn something along the way. When you’ve finished your hunt, simply return your clue sheet to park staff at the Recreation Building, and you’ll be entered into a drawing for some awesome prizes! You need not be present to win. Beginners Welcome! There is NO SKILL LEVEL OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! All you need is your GPS enabled smartphone or a GPS unit. Don’t have one? A limited number of GPS units will be available to borrow!
