Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

Top 5 Things To Do

  1. Explore the grounds and take a guided tour of the historic site. Tours are available from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
  2. Visit Station Cove Falls, Oconee’s breathtaking 60-foot waterfall.
  3. Enjoy the wildflowers and other unique wildlife along the trails.
  4. Attend a Living History program. These programs occur four or five Saturdays per year and are posted on the South Carolina State Parks website.
  5. Fish for bream in the park’s pond, one of the park’s best-kept secrets.
