DO WE HAVE TO USE CERTAIN VENDORS AND IS A PLANNER REQUIRED?

  • You have the option to choose your vendors when booking an event at either Founders Hall or the Legare Waring House. All we require is a licensed planner for your event and that catering and bar service both be licensed and insured. If they are new to the facility, we also ask they submit a vendor application for approval.

CAN WE HANG THINGS FROM THE TREES?

  • Tents and lights must be rigged at the existing tent stakes on the sites. If you cannot do this you must use poles and weighted bases.

WHAT KINDS OF SEND-OFFS ARE ALLOWED?

  • We allow a variety of send-offs on-site, however, they must be environmentally friendly and preapproved by our venue manager. Some items we do not allow include fireworks, sparklers, wishing lanterns and helium balloons.

WHEN CAN MY WEDDING BEGIN/END (NOISE RESTRICTION)?

  • By contract, your event time at either facility is 5 hours, ending by 11 p.m. This 5-hour span does not include your setup or breakdown. Setup may begin at 9:30 a.m. and breakdown must be completed within 2 hours of the end of the event. At Founders Hall, your 5-hour event time can fluctuate depending on when you would like to start your ceremony.
